Nos preparamos para nueva edición del Festival Mundial de Poesía
Bajo el lema: «Esto, palabra, eres»
Caracas, 20 de junio de 2024. En 2024 se cumplen 18 años desde la instalación del Festival Mundial de Poesía de Venezuela como una plataforma pluricultural de integración de los pueblos.
Desde su inicio, el Festival Mundial de Poesía convocó poetas de todos los continentes, en esta edición estará presente África, América, Asia y Europa.
Con una producción simultánea en todo el país, participación de más de 200 poetas invitados, entre nacionales e internacionales.
En esta oportunidad, la mayor convocatoria poética del país y una de las más reconocidas a nivel internacional se realizará del 8 al 13 de julio, en homenaje al poeta Leonardo Ruiz Tirado.
Novedades de esta edición del Festival Mundial de Poesía
La poeta Ana María Oviedo, organizadora del Festival Mundial de Poesía, destacó entre las novedades de esta edición, el despliegue especial en los espacios donde conviven las abuelos de la Patria.
Cabe destacar que el presidente Nicolás Maduro anunció recientemente la atención primordial e inclusiva de los adultos mayores en los planes del Gobierno Bolivariano.
Oviedo resaltó la presencia de poetas de toda América como núcleo de la integración y el nuevo mundo multipolar que se promueve desde la región.
«En esta ocasión vamos a tener una importantísima presencia de poetas de América, de manera que esa integración que es necesario construir».
«A través de la palabra se construye de manera preciosa, de manera profunda, va a tener un momento especial en este festival«, agregó la poeta venezolana.
